Originally the City Hall for the City of Brooklyn before its consolidation with the City of New York in 1898, this Greek Revival structure, clad in marble invites visitors with its imposing staircase and entrance through fluted ionic columns, its cupola capped by a golden statue of Justice. The two-story rectangular lobby known as the rotunda has been carefully restored to its 1845 original grandeur.
